WSDOT announced several highway closures and lane restrictions effective this week in Longview and surrounding areas. Starting Wednesday, Aug. 5, the right lane of northbound SR 522 will close until 3 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 6. Eastbound SR 526 will also close its right lane from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7.

SR 169 will close both directions for 35 days beginning Aug. 17 to remove fish barriers near Jones Lake. SR 161 will close all lanes from Aug. 7 to 17 for culvert installation. Other closures include SR 203, I-405, and US 2, with work scheduled through Aug. 28. Detours are posted for most closures, and local access remains available for businesses.
