πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

RiverCities Transit will discontinue Route 433 commuter service to Rainier, Oregon, effective October 9, 2026, due to low ridership. Funding from this route will instead add weekday evening service to Routes 31, 32, 33, 45, and 57.

Route 31 will add a 7 p.m. departure from Longview Transit Center ending at Beech Street and 15th Avenue. Route 32 will add a 7 p.m. departure ending at St. John Medical Center. Route 33 will add a 7 p.m. departure ending at Safeway on 15th Avenue and Hemlock Street. Route 45 will adjust its timetable to improve transfers at Longview Transit Center and add a 7 p.m. departure. Route 57 will add a 7:20 p.m. departure from Kelso Amtrak Depot ending at Washington Way and 9th Avenue. RiverCities Transit LIFT will extend its hours to match fixed-route service.

The service changes follow a public hearing held September 9, 2026, where residents could comment on proposed changes to the routes. The changes take effect Monday, October 12, 2026.
