Missing Person Identified in Castle Rock Creek

Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office confirmed on June 24, 2026, that a missing person investigation involving Lori Moore has concluded with the discovery of her body in a submerged vehicle. The vehicle, a black 2018 Honda Accord with Washington license BZN5762, was found overturned in Arkansas Creek near Delameter Road in Castle Rock.

Detectives determined the vehicle left the roadway on June 19, 2026, before entering a field and overturning into the creek. The Sheriff's Office reported that Moore, 55, had been reported missing on June 20 after failing to return home following a visit to Castle Rock. She was last seen on video leaving a Castle Rock address at 9:25 p.m. on June 19 in her Honda Accord.

The Sheriff's Office has notified Moore's next of kin and asked the public to contact detectives with any information. Case number A26-13201 remains open for further investigation.

Due to the suspicious nature of Lori’s disappearance, the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating Lori Moore. Lori drives a black 2018 Honda Accord with Washington License BZN5762. The attached photos are of Lori’s Honda and Lori at a local restaurant the day of her disappearance.”
