Longview to Add Transit Stop, Improve Pedestrian Crossings

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Longview’s Accessibility Advisory Committee approved a new RiverCities Transit stop at 12th Avenue and Maple Street, according to a July 22 city notice. The stop is part of ongoing efforts to improve citywide accessibility.

The city also opened a survey for public input on revised pedestrian improvements at Nichols Boulevard crossings at Harding, Hemlock, and Garfield streets. The survey, which closes August 3, follows feedback from a June open house. Residents can share comments online or at the city office.
