Starting Monday, July 27, multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects will cause lane closures and traffic shifts on Longview-area highways through July 31.
Southbound I-405 will have up to two lanes closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. between mileposts 18. 11 and 16. 45, and another section closed nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. between mileposts 9 and 6. 5. Southbound SR 527 will have its center lane closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. between 214th Street Southeast and the I-405 off-ramp.
WSDOT says flaggers and pilot cars will direct traffic during the closures, with detours in place for the I-405 off-ramp closure. The work includes paving, utility projects, and construction, with all projects scheduled to end by 5 a.m. on Friday, July 31.
