I-405, I-5, SR 527 closures scheduled

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Starting Monday, Aug. 31, several road closures and lane restrictions will begin on Longview-area highways, according to Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) records. The most significant changes include nightly closures of up to four lanes on northbound I-405 from milepost 11. 5 to 13. 7, and up to two lanes of southbound I-405 from milepost 12 to 10, both through Sept. 4. I-5 will see reduced lanes nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Sept. 4 near exit 240 for fish passage construction. WSDOT says the closures are for construction projects including fish passage work on I-5 and utility work on SR 20. The I-5 fish passage project is scheduled to continue through Sept. 10. Drivers should expect delays and check WSDOT's website for real-time updates.
